Former President Donald Trump Vows to Investigate Biden Corruption
In a bold statement, former President Donald Trump declared that if he is re-elected, he will appoint a “real” special counsel to thoroughly investigate the alleged corruption of President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.
Last week, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed U.S. Attorney David Weiss as special counsel to oversee the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden. However, Weiss has faced criticism for attempting to secure a lenient plea deal for Hunter, which included probation, minor fines, and immunity from future prosecution.
According to an IRS whistleblower, Hunter Biden evaded paying $1.2 million in taxes in 2017 and 2018. Additionally, Weiss allowed the statute of limitations to expire on felony charges from tax years 2014 and 2015, which could have been pursued.
Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with Weiss’s appointment in a video posted on Truth Social, stating that he would remove the special counsel if he is elected president in 2024.
The House Oversight Committee recently revealed that over $20 million in payments from foreign sources were made to the Biden family and their associates. Trump questioned the origins of this money and suggested that Joe Biden may be compromised.

Trump accused Biden of being afraid to confront China due to their knowledge of his financial dealings. He highlighted Biden’s actions, such as shutting down initiatives to identify Chinese spies in the U.S. and allowing China to gain control over the Panama Canal.
Trump also criticized Biden’s weak response to China and Russia conducting naval exercises near Alaska. He argued that Biden’s corruption poses a significant threat to national security and could lead to World War III.
The House Oversight Committee is currently investigating allegations that Joe and Hunter Biden received a $5 million bribe in exchange for Joe taking government action to benefit a Ukrainian energy firm. Trump promised to appoint a real special counsel to investigate these crimes and the attempted cover-up if he is re-elected.
Despite facing multiple indictments from Biden’s DOJ and state prosecutors, Trump remains determined to win the election and address the corruption he believes exists within the Biden administration.
