When prosecutors objected to the use of the word “perjury,” Kise defended it, stating that there was nothing wrong with calling a liar a liar.
Habba also presented quotes from Cohen praising Trump’s character and capabilities, exposing his significant animosity towards the former president.
Trump himself commented on Cohen’s testimony, calling him a “complete and total disaster” and emphasizing his status as a convicted felon.
“He’s a convicted felon, for lying. He went to jail, for lying. And this is their only witness. When you think about it, it’s pretty amazing.”
