Trump lawyers criticize Fulton County DA’s office: ‘Not just an innocent error’
Former President Donald Trump’s Attorneys Slam Fulton County DA’s Office Over Premature Charges
In a shocking turn of events, former President Donald Trump’s attorneys have unleashed their fury on a website post that prematurely listed charges against Trump. The grand jury, which was still deliberating on whether to charge Trump over the 2020 election, had not even concluded its proceedings.
The charges were briefly published on a Georgia court website before being taken down. However, screenshots captured the document, revealing a total of 13 charges against Trump. These charges included felony conspiracy counts and a violation of the state’s RICO statute.
Attorneys Drew Findling and Jennifer Little issued a statement, expressing their outrage at the incident and criticizing Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. They accused her office of disregarding the integrity of the grand jury process, stating, “This was not a simple administrative mistake.”
TRUMP LAWYER STATEMENT: “The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has once against shown that they have no respect for the integrity of the grand jury process. This was not a simple administrative mistake. A proposed indictment should only be in the hands of the District…

The attorneys further highlighted the irregularities surrounding the document, emphasizing that a proposed indictment should only be in the hands of the District Attorney’s Office. They condemned the fact that it had made its way to the clerk’s office, being assigned a case number and a judge, even before the grand jury had completed its deliberations. They argued that this was indicative of the constitutional violations that have plagued the case from the beginning.
Trump himself expressed his anger, stating in a fund-raising email, “The Grand Jury testimony has not even FINISHED — but it’s clear the District Attorney has already decided how this case will end. This is an absolute DISGRACE.”
Trump was indicted BEFORE the grand jury closed.
That’s how rigged it is.

The Office of the Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts dismissed the document as fake. They clarified that no official documents had been filed regarding the alleged charges. The court emphasized that documents without an official case number, filing date, and the name of the Clerk of Courts should not be considered official filings.
However, the document in question did bear a case number and was dated August 14, listing Fulton County Judge Rachelle Carnesale as the presiding judge. It also included charges such as “Violation Of The Georgia RICO (Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations) Act” and “Solicitation of Violation of Oath by Public Officer.”
Conspiracy charges outlined in the document encompassed offenses like “impersonating a public officer,” “forgery,” making “false statements,” and “filing false documents.”
This incident has sparked outrage and raised concerns about the integrity of the legal process. Trump’s attorneys are demanding immediate action, calling for Georgia’s Attorney General to intervene.
