Trump, Jan. 6 Prison Choir Song ‘Justice for All’ Hits No. 1 on ITunes
A song written by Donald Trump (ex-President) and the “J6 Prison Choir”—a group of men charged for their involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021 breach of the U.S. Capitol—hit the number one spot on iTunes over the weekend.
The song’s two-minute duration is called “Title”. “Justice For All,” This video features Jan. 6, inmates singing the “Star Spangled Banner” Interspersed is Trump’s recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The song ends with the chorus chanting repeatedly “USA! USA!”

They were accused of entering the Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021 while Joe Biden’s 2020 election results were being certified by lawmakers. Trump had called his supporters to Washington D.C. in protest of the election results during the weeks preceding that day.
In the meantime, many of those charged with breaking the Capitol’s security on Jan. 6, 2021 were held in the same Washington D.C. correctional institution. Many of the prisoners remained in prison for many months, while they awaited their trials. This led to them forming a chorus. Forbes reported Trump recorded his part of the song two weeks earlier at his Mar-a-Lago Florida home, while the J6 Prison Choir recorded theirs using a jailhouse cell phone.
The song was released one day before Trump attended the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Tucker Carlson, Fox News host, started airing segments of new security footage captured in and around Washington Capitol on Jan. 6. He claimed that the footage is contrary to dominant media and political narratives about the severity or actions of some defendants that day.
Carlson showed footage from Jan. 6 defendant Jacob Chansley. Also known as the “Q-Anon Shaman,” Police officers lead you around the Capitol Chansley’s actions did not seem to be a threat to him that day. Carlson claimed that Chansley’s actions were a minimal threat to security, even though he later pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to more than three years imprisonment.
Prosecutors argued that the footage was illegal. Chansley does not get exonerated. According to the prosecutors, the footage presented by Carlson did not show Chansley shouting obscenities in the Senate Chamber. Chansley refused to be taken out of the building until another officer arrived.
Choir Raising Money For Defendants
CNN reported An unnamed Trump campaign adviser had denied that Trump’s participation in the song was connected to his 2024 presidential campaign. Trump has shown some sympathy for the accused and has even expressed his gratitude. I proposed to pardon them If he wins office in 2024.

Criticisms
The song “Justice For All” Popularity was boosted by criticisms of Trump and Carlson’s comments on the Capitol events on January 6, 2021.
Many Democrats and some Republicans are represented in Congress condemned Carlson’s presentation on the Capitol events. Mitch McConnell (Republican Senate Minority Leader) was one of the most prominent figures on right who criticised Carlson’s presentation of Capitol security footage.
“It was a mistake in my view for Fox News to depict this in a way that’s completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks,” McConnell .
The now-defunct Jan. 6 House select committee recommended charges against Trump before it disbanded. The charges against Trump included insurrection; obstruction of an oficial proceeding, making false statements to the federal governments, and conspiracy defrauding the federal governments.
Trump has denied responsibility for the chaos at the Capitol on January 6. Trump has referred to his calls for his supporters that they be peaceful in their actions on Jan. 6. Video After the violence had broken out, he released and asked supporters to return home.
