Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of the former president, ripped into an MSNBC reporter on Monday at the Republican National Convention when asked about family celebrations on U.S.-Mexico border.
“I covered the family separation crisis closely, will we continue to see policies like separating 5,000 children deliberately from their parents?” MSNBC reporter Jacob Soboroff asked Trump on the floor of the convention.
“You mean the Obama administration?” the former president’s son asked the reporter while he was standing next to his brother Eric.
Soboroff asked Trump if his father, if reelected, would launch a “second family separation” policy.

“It’s ‘MSDNC,’ so I expect nothing less from you clowns — even today, even 48 hours later, you couldn’t wait,” Trump said, referencing the assassination attempt on his father at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. “You couldn’t wait with your lies and with your nonsense.”
“Just get out of here,” he told the reporter with a hand gesture to move on.
