Trump Lawyer Says Manhattan DA Bragg Should Be Investigated, Ethics Complaint Filed

In his way against Donald Trump, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has been charged with violating legal run by Joseph Tacopina.

Tacophina mentioned that he had recommended an monitoring body look into Bragg in an interview with The Epoch Times.

The comments were made a day after Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz stated on Fox New’s Hannity system that Bragg should be looked into for bringing former Trump attorney Michael Cohen into the case. Cohen to rose to prominence in the grand jury investigation problems surrounding Trump alleged role in hush capital Cohen paid to adult television actress Stormy Daniels. Trump has denied the relationship, claiming that he was the target of bribery.

In the end, I genuinely believe that Bragg is concerned about his own prevention card because I have never seen a weaker case. Dershowitz said, referring to Cohen,” I think he’s worried that if[ he brings this case ] and uses a witness that the person who needs to know is lying, there might be investigations of[ Bragg ].

Experts anticipate that Cohen’s live will be crucial in proving the charges brought against Trump, which they believe to be criminal falsifying business records. Cohen asserts that he paid Daniels on his orders. According to that accusation, the fraud must be committed in order to conceal another murder, in this case, a national campaign law violation.

When asked if he agreed with Dershowitz’s judgment, Tacopina, who has defended well-known people like Michael Jackson and singer A$ AP Rocky, replied,” I know do.”

Alvin Bragg, incidentally, concurred with it a few months ago. He said in a book that one of his prosecution couldn’t fathom how he could even employ Michael Cohen as evidence against Donald Trump. But that’s what he immediately said, so I guess his perspective on the world has changed.

Tacopina echoed Dershowitz’s claim that Cohen had lied in his evidence about whether the feature capital had been sent to Daniels on Donald Trump orders.

Of all, you cannot rely on Michael Cohen’s expression. He’s a pathologically convicted phony— someone with zero trust, according to Tacopina.

In his guilty plea, Cohen claimed that he had paid the calm money out of his own pocket and that the Trump Organization had reimbursed him through routine legal costs. Cohen previously claimed as much in February 2018 to press outlets. Trump has hitherto referred to Cohen’s monthly retainer payment as” entered into, through reimbursement, a private contract between two events.” Trump has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

Truth is truth, and the information in the[ New York district attorney’s office ] demonstrate this ,” Cohen responded to accusations that he is a hypocrite.

The New York City Department of Investigation ( DOI ), the city government’s watchdog, received a formal ethics complaint from Tacopina on March 10. The DOI’s studies are private and cover a variety of topics, including misconduct, loss, corruption, abuse of authority, and unethical behavior.

He stated that” The Department of Investigation is looking into Mr. Bragg.”

Tacopina requested that the DOI look into allegations of prosecutorial misconduct made by current and former live lawyers of the New York district attorney’s office, who he claimed had a” personal and political antagonism” against Trump and had decided to start looking into the former president in his letter to DOE Commissioner Jocelyn Strauber. He mentioned Bragg, previous city attorneys Cyrus Vance, Carey Dunne, and Mark Pomerantz, all of whom had previously been involved in Trump’s investigation.

Tacopina wrote in the letter,” Plainly, their own actions and / or words establish that Cyrus Vance, Carey Dunne, and Mark Pomerantz picked a person they despised for political reasons and targeted him for prosecution to harm his ability to run for national office.”

Tacopina cited Pomerantz’s membership in his text” People vs. Donald Trump: An Inside Account” as an illustration of this purported animosity toward Trump, saying,” I saw him as a malignant narcissist, and perhaps to the idea that mattered to me. I was enraged, depressed, and sometimes disgusted by his actions.

Tacopina also claimed in the letter that the prosecutors’ animus had been obvious given that Trump’s investigation was based on novel legal theories, their repeated dismissal of the concerns of seasoned senior attorneys, and their resurgence of Daniels’ case— which he referred to as a” zombie case”— despite having previously determined that it lacked merit.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office was contacted by The Epoch Times for remark.

Tacopina vehemently denied any wrongdoing on Trump’s aspect.

Did he commit any wrongdoing by failing to disclose any battle expenditures? And the answer is absolutely no, Tacopina told The Epoch Times,” There is no campaign finance law rape, there is nothing contravention.” ” Nothing else is important.”

The case was previously referred to as” the weaponization of our injustice system” by a Trump spokesperson in an article for The Epoch Times.

The director for Bragg wrote,” The George Soros-funded Radical Left Democrat prosecutor in Manhattan has decided to take his Witch-Hunch to the next level.”

Tacopina reported that the great jurors hearing was postponed on Wednesday.
