This survey indicates that support for Trump remains strong, despite some recent polls suggesting a potential decline in his standing among the GOP field. Trump was indicted for a second time earlier this month on federal charges related to classified documents. He pleaded not guilty to the charges in a federal courthouse in Miami, Florida.

In the overall polling average compiled by RealClearPolitics, Trump maintains his lead in the GOP presidential field, with DeSantis in second place. The rest of the candidates are far behind the two Florida men. The first Republican primary debate is scheduled for August 23 in Milwaukee and will be broadcast on Fox News.
