Trump mocks Harris for not appearing on Rogan podcast – Washington Examiner
Former President Donald Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for not appearing on Joe Rogan’s podcast, stating at a rally in Gastonia, North Carolina, that if she can’t handle such an interview, she isn’t fit to handle the presidency. He further claimed that her inability to manage such situations would leave her overwhelmed in dealings with global leaders like Putin and Xi, suggesting that it could have dire consequences. Trump’s remarks came in the context of an ongoing political climate, emphasizing the seriousness of presidential responsibilities. Rogan, on the other hand, mentioned that while the Harris campaign had not completely ruled out a podcast appearance, logistical issues such as travel and time constraints were factors in the delay.
Trump mocks Harris for not appearing on Joe Rogan’s show
Former President Donald Trump mocked Vice President Kamala Harris on Saturday over her not doing an interview with podcast host Joe Rogan, telling a crowd of his supporters, “If Kamala can’t handle an interview with Joe Rogan, then she can’t handle the presidency.”
“She certainly can’t handle Putin or President Xi,” Trump said during his rally in Gastonia, North Carolina.
“She will get overwhelmed, melt down, and millions of people will die,” the former president added. “This is not a charity event — this is an election for the biggest and toughest job anywhere in the world.”
“They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour,” Rogan said. “I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen.”
Trump recently sat down with Rogan for a three-hour discussion that has now amassed over 43 million views on YouTube. Rogan’s shows are typically between two hours and three hours.
“Can you imagine Kamala doing this show?” Trump asked during the show.
“I could imagine her doing this show,” Rogan replied. “She was supposed to do it, she might still do it and I hope she does.”
“She’s not gonna do it,” Trump told Rogan.
Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), Trump’s running mate, also appeared on Rogan’s show for a conversation that aired this past week. The interview was also three hours long and has amassed over 11.7 million views on YouTube.
Rogan’s podcast is the most popular on Spotify, followed by the Tucker Carlson Show and This Past Weekend With Theo Von.
