Trump shares video of Attorney General’s incriminating statement during court recess.
Former President Donald Trump Slams New York Attorney General Letitia James During Courtroom Break
In the midst of a $250 million alleged fraud lawsuit filed against him by the state, former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back in criticizing New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Before the start of the non-criminal civil trial, Trump took to Truth Social to remind his followers of James’ campaign promise to go after him.
Trump shared a clip showing James smiling about bringing him to court, along with footage of several members of the far-left corporate media agreeing that the case is personal.
CNN legal analyst Elie Honig, who believes the case is frivolous, is among those who agree with Trump.
Trump expressed his frustration, writing, “A CONTINUATION OF THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME!”
As reported by CNN in 2019, James campaigned on investigating Trump and his business dealings.
James alleges that Trump, his company, and his sons Donald Jr. and Eric Trump inflated their assets to evade taxes and secure favorable interest rates.
One of the assets in question is Trump’s historic home and club in Palm Beach, Florida.
Judge Arthur Engoron sided with James, valuing Mar-a-Lago at only $18 million to $27 million, while Trump argues it is worth over $1 billion.
Engoron’s valuation is contradicted by the high prices of smaller properties in the area, such as a 2.3-acre lot near Trump’s property currently selling for $200 million.
During the trial, Engoron was seen smiling, which Trump criticized during a recess, calling the trial a waste of time and accusing the judge of bias.
Although not required to attend the trial, Trump voluntarily showed up in New York.

How did Donald Trump express his dissatisfaction with Letitia James during a recent courtroom break?
Former President Donald Trump did not shy away from expressing his dissatisfaction with New York Attorney General Letitia James during a recent courtroom break amidst a $250 million alleged fraud lawsuit filed against him by the state.
Before the start of the non-criminal civil trial, Trump took to Truth Social, a social media platform he is associated with, to remind his followers of James’ campaign promise to go after him. He shared a clip showing James smiling about bringing him to court, along with footage of several members of the far-left corporate media agreeing that the case is personal.
Even CNN legal analyst Elie Honig, who believes the case is frivolous, agreed with Trump’s frustration. In a post, Trump wrote, “A CONTINUATION OF THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME!”
James had campaigned on investigating Trump and his business dealings, as reported by CNN in 2019. In this lawsuit, James alleges that Trump, his company, and his sons Donald Jr. and Eric Trump inflated their assets to evade taxes and secure favorable interest rates. One of the assets in question is Trump’s historic home and club in Palm Beach, Florida, known as Mar-a-Lago.
However, Judge Arthur Engoron, in a decision that sided with James, valued Mar-a-Lago at only $18 million to $27 million. Trump, on the other hand, argues that it is worth over $1 billion. Engoron’s valuation contradicts the high prices that similar properties in the area have sold for.
The court battle between Trump and James continues, with both sides firmly standing their ground. Regardless of the outcome, this case highlights the ongoing conflict and animosity between the former president and the New York attorney general.
