Trump shares plans for family’s involvement in his administration if he secures primary and general election victories.
Former President Donald Trump Opens Up About His Family’s Role in Potential Future Administration
During a recent interview, Donald Trump revealed that his family will not be involved in his administration if he becomes the Republican Party nominee and wins the 2024 general election.
Trump, 77, shared this insight with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, stating that being president was “too painful for the family.” He made it clear that his family will not play a part in his administration if he returns to the White House.
When asked about his daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner’s potential involvement in his political future, Trump responded with a resolute “No.” He explained, “That’s enough for the family. You know why? It’s too painful for the family.”
Trump went on to express the challenges his family has faced, particularly his son Eric, who has been subjected to numerous subpoenas. He emphasized that his family has endured hardships like no other.
He also mentioned Ivanka’s successful clothing line, which she had to close down when he entered the political arena. Ivanka herself announced in November 2022 that she would not be part of her father’s 2024 presidential campaign, citing a desire to prioritize her children and focus on their private life as a family.
While Ivanka expressed her love and support for her father, she made it clear that she will not be involved in politics going forward. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the American people and highlighted the accomplishments of their administration.
