Trump Criticizes Biden’s Immigration Policies Following Arrest of Illegal Immigrant Charged with Murder and Rape

Former President Donald Trump ripped into President Joe Biden on Monday after an illegal immigrant was arrested over the weekend for the murder and rape of a Maryland mother of five.

Trump was responding to the news that 23-year-old Victor Antonio Martinez Hernandez had been arrested for the murder of 37-year-old Rachel Morin. Hernandez, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, is accused of murdering Morin when she was out on a hike in Harford County, Maryland, in August 2023.

“ANOTHER one of Crooked Joe Biden’s Illegal Immigrant Criminals was just charged with raping and murdering ANOTHER innocent American woman! Rachel Morin was on a run in Maryland, just like Laken Riley was in Georgia, when she was brutally killed by an illegal monster who was wanted for murder in El Salvador and fled to the USA because he knew Crooked Joe would let him in,” Trump posted to Truth Social. “Now Rachel Morin’s 5 young children will grow up without their mother because Crooked Joe refuses to shut down the border.”

Trump added that he wished God would be with Morin’s family, especially her five children.

Hernandez was arrested in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday after police say they linked DNA from the crime scene to him. Law enforcement said that he had been on a “crime spree that started in El Salvador and then multiple cities across the United States.”

Hernandez is suspected of a January 2023 murder in El Salvador and of assaulting a 9-year-old girl in California. According to the Tulsa Police Department, Hernandez “violently assaulted a 9-year-old girl and her mother during a home invasion” in Los Angeles.

In the same Truth Social post, Trump ripped into Biden over reports that he would be creating a path to citizenship for hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants married to U.S. citizens if they have been in the country for at least 10 years.

“As a matter of fact, this week, Biden is preparing to give MASS AMNESTY to hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens! This is unsustainable and can’t be allowed to continue! On day one, we will SHUT DOWN THE BORDER and start deporting millions of Biden’s Illegal Criminals,” Trump said.

Illegal immigrants have been arrested this year for a string of high-profile crimes, including the murder of 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley in Georgia, as lawmakers have called on the Biden administration to enact stricter border security measures.
