Trump’s claim on walls proven right as Biden admits, but let’s not be deceived by his sudden change of stance.
Boy, what a difference a few million or so illegal aliens make.
The Biden administration has waived more than two dozen regulations — trampling upon environmental concerns Leftists once cared about — so that a wall along the southern border could be built in certain “high illegal entry” areas.
President Joe Biden previously vilified former president Donald Trump for his efforts to build a “big, beautiful wall” along the southern border. Once Biden stepped into the Oval Office, he put a stop to new construction of the barrier, promising that his administration would not build “one more foot” of the structure. In fact, he even said that Trump’s vision for a wall was “not a serious policy solution.”
We need more tests. Our front line workers need protective equipment. Americans need additional economic relief.

Now, the Department of Homeland Security has announced that the situation at the border makes it “necessary to waive certain laws, regulations, and other legal requirements” in order to ensure the expeditious construction of “physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States,” The Daily Wire previously reported.
Of course, it stands to reason that Biden and his ilk have always known that walls work but opposed one for several reasons. The first is that Biden campaigned on undoing everything that Trump had put in place. That included border security measures that kept Americans safe.
The second reason Biden wanted a lax border is that he and his comrades think it beneficial for the country to have hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of foreigners come in as cheap labor and new votes. Consider recent comments from New York Governor Kathy Hochul, whose state has been flooded with illegals ever since January 2021.

In other words, she believes these illegals crossing the border every day are no different than your grandparents who came here in search of a better future. These individuals are only allowed to work thanks to permission from the Biden administration, of course.

Yet, the third reason that Democrats opposed strict border security was because they thought it was politically expedient to demonize Trump and any Republican voter who wanted to protect American sovereignty. Consider that, as a candidate, Biden was quite vociferous in his promise to only deport those who commit felonies:
While running for President in 2020, Biden promised to NOT enforce our immigration laws. He was asked many times if he would deport people who enter the country illegally. He promised not to.

What happened next was easy to predict: The entire world took it as an open invite once he was named the 2020 winner.
Now, the crisis has overwhelmed liberal states, and their own voters are getting a little miffed. This recent protest in New York sums up the situation quite nicely. Poor AOC could barely hear the sound of her own voice:

In turn, polls show that it’s no bueno that the border is wide open. So, the Democrats must recognize they need to at least feign interest in protecting Americans, which is likely why Mayorkas announced this action last night.
But so long as Democrats keep offering jobs, free housing, video games, schooling, clothes, and more with little to no chance of deportation, illegals will continue to come over in record numbers.
And for the American people, the damage has already been done under Biden’s two-and-half years in office. Our country has been forever altered due to the sheer number of people who have come under Biden.
The president will try to claim he cares about unlawful migration — just look at the wall he built — but the ravaging effects of however many illegal have come over will be felt for years to come.
He’ll never admit it, but it stands to reason that he knows Trump was right about the border and the need for a wall.
Instead, Biden will focus on what political issue he thinks he can wield to beat down his political opponent in 2024, and how to wield rhetoric to demonize his opponents.
It stands to reason that if first came the illegals, followed by work permits, then mass amnesty will be up next. Democrat leaders have already called for it. Republicans better be prepared to go on the offensive with that one.
For now, let’s not be fooled by Biden’s sudden about-face on the issue of Trump’s wall.
