Former President Donald⁤ Trump’s legal team and other attorneys for co-defendants accused ⁤of attempting to subvert the 2020 election arrived in Fulton County, Georgia, on Monday to iron out the terms of their bond and release conditions.

Bond Agreement Reached with⁤ Trump

District Attorney Fani Willis reached a bond agreement with Trump just after ⁤3:30 p.m. EDT,⁢ setting⁤ his bond at $200,000.‍ Under the terms of⁣ the consent‍ bond order, Trump cannot perform any acts of witness ‍intimidation or communicate directly or indirectly about ⁤the facts of the case with any co-defendants except through his attorneys.

Bond Agreement for Co-Defendants

A bond agreement was also met ‌with two of Trump’s co-defendants on Monday,⁢ including attorney John Eastman. His $100,000 bond order was the first to appear on‍ the Fulton County court⁢ website. As part⁢ of the⁢ order, ‌he must report to pretrial supervision every 30 days, and may do ‍so by phone. He is also barred ‍from communicating ‌with the 18 other co-defendants in the case.

Co-defendant Scott ⁤Hall, a bail⁤ bondsman, had his bond set at $10,000. ⁢He is facing seven charges related to an alleged connection with a local elections office breach‍ in Coffee County, Georgia.

Challenges and⁣ Indictments

Eastman, who allegedly helped form the strategy that led Trump⁣ to pressure then-Vice President Mike Pence to throw out electors⁤ on Jan. 6, ‌2021, faces⁣ nine counts. Eastman’s attorneys vowed last week to‍ challenge ‍the charges he is facing⁤ and said, “Lawyers everywhere should be‍ sleepless over this latest stunt to criminalize their ⁢advocacy.”

All of the 19 defendants in the ‍case who were indicted last week, including Trump, are expected to surrender themselves this week⁣ ahead of a Friday deadline imposed ‌by Willis.⁤ Trump and⁣ the others ⁢were named in a 41-count racketeering⁣ indictment that ties back to‍ alleged efforts to overturn the election results in the state’s 2020 race.

Eastman is also referenced, though not explicitly named, as an unindicted co-conspirator in special counsel Jack Smith’s federal election subversion case against Trump.
