Tucker Carlson leaves Fox News: Brian Kilmeade to host Monday night show
Get ready for an exciting night on Fox News! Political commentator and Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade is taking over the 8 p.m. hour on Monday night. This comes after the network announced that Tucker Carlson would be leaving the slot after seven years of hosting.
According to a Fox News spokesperson, Kilmeade will be hosting Monday’s show. You may recognize Kilmeade as a co-host on Fox & Friends with Steve Doocy and Ainsley Earhardt, which airs from 6-9 a.m. He also hosts the Saturday show One Nation with Brian Kilmeade from 8-9 p.m.
But who will replace Tucker Carlson?
Fox News plans to have a rotating group of hosts until a replacement is found. Some possible hosts include Jesse Watters, Maria Bartiromo, Sean Hannity, Greg Gutfeld, and Laura Ingraham.
Kilmeade is known for his outspoken commentary on conservative topics. He fearlessly goes after both left- and right-wing politicians. In fact, he recently criticized former President Donald Trump for airing a Jan. 6 insurrection video at his rally in Waco, Texas.
Carlson’s departure from the network was announced on Monday morning. The last episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight, which began in 2016, aired on Friday. Carlson will not produce any more content for Fox News. Interestingly, his departure coincided with CNN’s announcement that they had fired host Don Lemon.

Despite remaining silent on the matter, Carlson left a cryptic ad message on his website. It prompted people to sign up to “become a tuckercarlson.com insider to find out what Tucker’s up to next.”
It’s a big change for Fox News, and it’s already having an impact. Fox Corporation’s stock lost $1 billion in market capitalization just minutes after news of Carlson’s departure broke. So, don’t miss Kilmeade’s debut tonight at 8 p.m.!
