Tucker Carlson’s show secures ad deal with Don Trump Jr.-affiliated anti-ESG firm.
Former Fox News Host Tucker Carlson Strikes Lucrative Advertising Deal
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has recently secured a highly lucrative advertising deal with Public Square, a cutting-edge marketing app specifically designed for conservative shoppers. This app, which has strong connections to investors like Donald Trump Jr., aims to empower consumers by allowing them to thoroughly evaluate companies before making purchases, ensuring they do not support businesses with “woke” agendas. Public Square focuses on identifying companies that implement environmental, social, and governance policies, commonly referred to as ESG.
Expanding His Conservative Audience
This agreement marks Carlson’s first advertising deal since launching his own show on Twitter, and it provides a glimpse into the type of conservative audience he aims to attract. The deal has already garnered support from prominent investors, including Trump Jr., who expressed his enthusiasm for Tucker’s new media empire.
“Tucker Carlson is a good friend and the most important media figure in conservative politics. He has consistently put America First and covered the issues that are most important to everyday Americans,” Trump Jr. told the Washington Examiner. ”As an investor in PublicSq, I’m thrilled to see they are backing Tucker’s new media empire. This will cause a massive shakeup in the political and media space.”
Carlson’s show, titled “Tucker on Twitter,” made its debut on June 6, just two months after his departure from Fox News due to a defamation lawsuit settlement between the network and Dominion Voting Systems. Determined to continue his program through a different platform, Carlson vowed to deliver a similar experience to his audience.
The pilot episode of ”Tucker on Twitter” attracted an impressive 26.7 million views, although viewership declined to 13.9 million by the second episode and further dropped to 3.8 million by the eighth episode.
The advertising deal between Public Square and “Tucker on Twitter” is set to take effect in late August, promising an exciting collaboration that will undoubtedly captivate conservative viewers.
