Two Americans Kidnapped In Mexico Found Dead

One of the four Americans kidnapped Mexican authorities announced Tuesday that the two remaining gunmen killed by Mexican gunmen last week were dead and their bodies had been recovered.

Mexican officials in Tamaulipas shared their discovery via social media. They noted that they are continuing investigations to find the culprits and continued efforts to arrest them. The victim who was found alive has been reportedly suffered injuries, but it is not known what the extent of these injuries are.

“We send our condolences to the relatives of the victims, their friends, to the people of the U.S., to the government of the U.S.,” Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said in a press conference, according to The Wall Street Journal. “Of course we lament what happens in our country, and especially this,” He concluded.
