Russian Offensive Imminent In Vuhledar
Analysts believe the conflict is in VuhledarThe Russian offensive has been intensifying in recent weeks. This is a sign that it is underway or is imminent.
Rob Lee, a war analyst from the Foreign Policy Research Institute, stated that the new offensive will likely begin in the Kreminna–Svatove area.
“We are waiting for an expected offensive in the Kreminna-Svatove area that will likely be spearheaded by the 76th Air Assault Division,” Lee said.
Lee stated that the Russians may have more success in Vuhledar than they did in Vuhledar. There, Ukrainian forces have been able to defend their positions.
Lee did predict some success, but he also warned Russia they might not be in a position to achieve the gains necessary to control the Donetsk area.
“They may have more success, but it is unlikely they will be able to achieve a true breakthrough and seize much territory,” He stated.
Even though Russia has recently recruited soldiers, the Kremlin is still struggling with a severe shortage of ammunition and weapons that could hinder their ability to make the gains they need in Donetsk or Luhansk.
The Institute for the Study of War Notified this week This is because the problem has become so grave that Russian President Vladimir Putin “likely seeks scapegoats for the Russian defense industrial base’s struggle to address equipment and technological shortages.”
