US Blacklists 37 Companies Including Units of China’s BGI, Inspur
Chinese companies feel the heat. Officials from the federal to state levels are cracking down against Chinese businesses. Biden’s administration has blacklisted 37 more companies, including Inspur (Chinese BGI) and Inspur (Chinese Inspur). Nebraska is also joining the list, listing telecom companies like ZTE and Huawei. Australia, America’s ally, is also taking aim. It wants to thwart China’s access to rare earth supplies by banning a Chinese-linked fund. The goal is Chinese infiltration.
