CNN Poll Reveals Concerning Findings About President Biden’s Trustworthiness
In a recent discussion on CNN, polling expert Harry Enten and host Kate Bolduan expressed their worry over a new poll that showed President Joe Biden is less trusted than Republicans on major issues leading up to the 2024 election.
The network ran a chyron stating that most Americans believe the economy is in a “poor condition,” according to the poll.
Bolduan highlighted that the CNN poll went beyond simply asking Americans about their concerns, but also delved into who they trust to address those issues.
Surprisingly, the network’s own polling found that Biden is trailing congressional Republicans on all “major issues,” with a margin of 45 percent to 54 percent.
The CNN poll, conducted from July 1 to July 31 among 1,279 American adults, reported a margin of error of +/- 3.7 points.
As Bolduan discussed the poll’s findings, she emphasized, “This really sticks out.”
Enten agreed with his colleague, acknowledging that congressional approval ratings tend to be very low. He stated, “But what we see here is, more people actually trust congressional Republicans than Biden on the most important issues of the day.”

Enten expressed concern about the polling results, calling it a “very worrying sign” for the president.
He concluded, “If [Biden is] doing this poorly against congressional Republicans, imagine how he might do against a presidential candidate from the Republican side.”
Biden’s approval rating has significantly declined over the past year.
The CNN poll revealed that 58 percent of Americans disapprove of the job he is doing.
According to CNN, Biden’s overall approval rating stands at 41%, which has remained relatively consistent since the spring.
However, his approval drops to 37% when it comes to his handling of the economy and further decreases to 30% for his handling of inflation.
Only 26 percent of independents approve of Biden’s handling of inflation, as found by CNN.
The poll also showed that 57 percent of respondents disapprove of Vice President Kamala Harris.
These findings have caused concern and panic at CNN, as they reflect a challenging head-to-head matchup for Biden in the upcoming election.
