A spokesperson from the Veterans Affairs confirmed that the agency is conducting an investigation into the incident and emphasized their zero-tolerance policy towards anti-Semitism.
“We are aware of this incident, are investigating the matter, and will take any appropriate action,” stated Terrence Hayes, the department’s press secretary. “There is no place at VA for anti-Semitism or any expression of bigotry or hatred.”
