Victor Davis Hanson: Race Everywhere

Tyre Nichols (a 29-year-old African American) was brutally beat to death by five Black Memphis Police officers. They were all charged with murder. All were part of a special crime group known as the Scorpions.

Both the victimizers were Black as was the victim. The Memphis police chief, who is Black, is also Black. Black is the assistant chief of police.

Blacks make up nearly 60% of the police force. Memphis’ white population is approximately 25%.

Scorpion, a unit composed mainly of Black officers, was established in response to grassroots calls to stop crime spiraling in predominantly Black areas.

Tyre Nichols’ death can be attributed to many factors: poor police training, inadequate administrative supervision, and lower hiring standards.

Instead, accusations of beating death were made as soon after the beating death was reported. “systemic racism” surfaced.

Van Jones, former Obama Administration green czar. He was recently awarded $100 million by Jeff Bezos “courage and civility award,” CNN’s Chris Wallace stated that Black police oppressors were practicing white racism.

Some claimed that the charges of murder against five Black officers was racist. Some others claimed that the creation of the unit was racist to reduce Black-on Black crime.

However, when everything is racist, nothing can be racist.

At the same moment, San Francisco was looking into paying large cash reparations to its African American residents in restitution for their ancestral sin, slavery.

This evil institution was destroyed by the Civil War, which resulted in 700,000. Americans being killed.

California has always been a free state, with no slavery history.

In six generations, no American resident has ever been a slave or a slave owner.

These multibillion-dollar payments are apparently to be paid by a state that is close to bankruptcy and has a $25 billion shortfall in its budget.

How can we calculate current eligibility or culpability for multiracial California? 27% of California residents were born outside the United States. Only 35% are white.

Students are increasingly encouraged to live in racially-segregated housing on college campuses.

These reactionaries appear eager to return to “separate but equal” Apartheid, which was declared illegal almost 60 years back by the 1964 Civil Right Act.

A National Association of Scholars survey found that 42% of the 173 schools it surveyed had racially separated residences. 46% of the schools offered racially-segregated orientation programs. A staggering 72% of graduates were held at racially-segregated ceremonies.

So-called “safe spaces” On campus, students are expelled based on their race, especially whites who become stereotyped members in a toxic collective.

The race-based admissions system has evolved from proportional representation. The entering class should reflect the country’s racial makeup – to reparatory and compensatory admission.

Stanford University’s 2026 class includes white students who make up 22% of its enrolled population, or roughly one-third, of the country’s total population.

Ironically, current racism engineering revives the old quota system used in the past to discriminate against Jews.

“Whites” – To the extent that it is possible to determine any race in an intermarried and multiracial community – does not fall under the current definition of an exploitive minority.

They don’t even make up a majority of the population in many major American cities, and some states.

They are far behind other ethnic groups in terms per capita income. Millions of working-class Americans do not fit the stereotype of “privileged.”

White males are often depicted as racists and portrayed as an exhibiting collective. “white rage.”

They still commit suicide at twice their age – more often than Blacks or Latinos.

At twice the rate of the general population, they were also killed in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Whites are significantly underrepresented when it comes to hate-crime offenders. Whites with Jewish heritage are the most likely victims of hate crimes.

Whites commit violent crimes on people of different races at rates that are lower than the general population.

In America’s eyes, it is not race that defines underprivileged. It’s no longer synonymous to race.

It is no surprise that the identity politics industry tries to attach prefixes such a prefix. “systemic” Oder “implicit” To “racism,” Oder “micro” To “aggression,” Supposedly, to detect biases that are not obvious.

Recall that America is the only multiracial constitutional democracy to be successful in history.

The unique idea of the United States is essential for survival in a hostile and increasingly dysfunctional world.

National cohesion cannot be achieved without citizens coordinating their tribal interests with a common culture. Only then can they stop being warlords of various tribes and collectives.

As the world becomes more dangerous, Americans need to – like Benjamin Franklin once advised – stay together or they will all soon be hanging apart.
