Video: Nightmare Scenario: Gen Z Drafted for WWIII
The U.S. Military Draft: Past and Present
The United States has implemented a military draft on five occasions throughout its history, during significant conflicts such as the Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
Although the Selective Service System, reinstated by President Jimmy Carter in 1980, remains in effect, it has been a long time since anyone was drafted into the armed forces.
However, have you ever wondered what would happen if there were a draft today?
A TikTok video, which has gained attention, features a young man discussing this very topic.
He confidently states, “Why is everybody saying Gen Z is going to get drafted? Like, no, we’re not, and you know why I know that? ‘Cause we’re just gonna say no.”

The Gen Z individual then proceeds to eloquently explain his stance while eating and talking with his mouth full.
According to him, a draft made sense during World War II because ”what else was there to do in 1940 besides shoot people?”
He continues, “We have things to do nowadays,” listing activities like twerking and embracing bisexuality. He also mentions the prevalence of mental illness among young people.

“I have, like, six of these,” he says, shaking a bottle of prescription pills. “What makes you think I’m qualified to have a gun, like, within 600 feet of anybody, including myself?”
Lastly, he expresses his disdain for guns, calling them “like, so tacky.”
“Can you imagine just, like, pulling up with a gun? Like, that is so f***ing embarrassing,” he exclaims. “Like, what is this, the Revolutionary f***ing War? No!”
“No, it’s not gonna happen. Don’t worry,” he confidently concludes.
While the video may or may not be a parody, it reflects the sentiments of many young people, which could be one reason why military recruitment in the country is declining.
Gen Z individuals often live in a fantasy world where their biggest fear is being “misgendered,” so it’s questionable whether they would be prepared to face the challenges and realities of the battlefield.

There are various factors contributing to the current state of the nation’s youth, including the influence of social media and medical professionals promoting ideological beliefs about “gender affirmation.”
Furthermore, our military leadership seems more focused on providing transgender surgeries to service members than on building a strong and capable fighting force.

This man who thinks he’s a woman underwent a full gender transition including “facial feminization” to try to change his face to appear like a female.
It didn’t cost him cuz he’s in the military and they paid for it using our tax dollars.

While there are still dedicated young individuals serving in the military and making valuable contributions in other fields, it is concerning to think about the possibility of a draft if World War III were to occur.
In such a scenario, it seems that a henhouse full of wolves would have a better chance of survival.

What are some of the historical conflicts in which the United States has implemented a military draft?
The United States has a long history of implementing a military draft during significant conflicts throughout its history. The draft has been used during the Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Although the Selective Service System, reinstated by President Jimmy Carter in 1980, is still in effect, it has been quite some time since anyone was drafted into the armed forces.
However, there has been recent speculation about the possibility of another draft. A TikTok video, which has gained attention, features a young man discussing this very topic. In the video, the individual confidently states that “Gen Z” will not be drafted because they will simply refuse to participate. While this statement may reflect the sentiment of some young people, it is important to consider the implications and consequences of such a decision.
The individual in the video goes on to explain his stance, albeit in a less than formal manner, while eating and talking with his mouth full. According to him, a draft made sense during World War II because there were limited options for young people at the time. However, he argues that in today’s world, there are plenty of other things for young people to do, such as twerking and embracing bisexuality, suggesting that these activities are more important than serving in the military. He also points out the prevalence of mental illness among young people, implying that this should exempt them from any potential draft.
While it is understandable that young people may have different priorities and concerns compared to previous generations, it is important to recognize the importance of national defense and collective responsibility. The decision to participate in a draft should be made based on a thorough understanding of the situation and the potential consequences of refusing to serve. It is crucial to consider the impact of one’s actions on national security and the well-being of the country as a whole.
Ultimately, the likelihood of another military draft occurring in the United States remains uncertain. However, it is essential to have a well-informed and thoughtful discussion about the draft and its implications. The perspectives and opinions of young people should be considered, but it is important to approach the topic with respect, seriousness, and an understanding of the historical context and national security considerations.
