Video Shows Meteorologist Appealing To God As Tornado Ripped Toward Mississippi Town
While on the air, a Mississippi scientist prayed to God for assistance for those who were in the direction of the violent storm that was tearing through the state.
As a cyclone moved toward the little city of Amory, which was also destroyed by the surprise along with other parts of northern Mississippi, WTVA meteorologist Matt Laubhan prayed on the air.
The problem with this is that you all trust me quite little, Laubhan remarked. I tell you where it’s going, and some of you guys are saying things like,” Oh, I see. This could be changing course given its fact. Therefore, Amory, we must remain in a secure location.
Laubhan, who was keeping an eye on the hurricane’s course, received a new scan and seemed to be exceedingly alarmed by its course. Oh man, this is coming in from the northern side of Amory, he said. Oh, my God. Jesus, kindly assist them. Amen.”

According to the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, at least 23 people were killed and four people went missing due to the tornado. “Unfortunately these numbers are expected to change,” the agency tweeted on Saturday.
The tornado, which was around a mile wide and traveled for over 100 miles, devastated the small towns of Rolling Fork, Anguilla, and Silver Creek.
The devastating wind destroyed homes, tore off roofs, and cut off power to thousands of Mississippians. Governor Mississippi Even after 10:00 p.m. on Friday, Tate Reeves tweeted to his country’s residents to ask for prayer and to update them on the actions the state is taking.
Most people in the MS Delta need your prayers and God’s safety this evening, according to Reeves. For those who are affected, we have activated health guidance, increasing the number of vehicles and other emergency vehicles. There is activated search and rescue. Keep an eye out for weather reports and exercise caution throughout the event, Mississippi!
