Disturbing Video Reveals ‘Migrant Express’ Approaching Our Border – Alarming Situation
President Thomas Jefferson’s Call for Immigration Reform
In his First Annual Message of Dec. 8, 1801, President Thomas Jefferson passionately urged Congress to revise its naturalization laws, posing the question, “Shall oppressed humanity find no asylum on this globe?”
Jefferson recognized the importance of welcoming immigrants to the United States, but he could not have foreseen the current state of chaos.
Recently, on X, formerly known as Twitter, Fox News’ Griff Jenkins shared a captivating video. The footage captured a train, known as “The Migrant Express,” packed with migrants, departing from Zacatecas, Mexico, and heading towards the U.S. border.
The one-minute clip showcased over 20 train cars filled with hundreds of migrants, who cheered and whistled as the train passed by the camera.

This video vividly illustrates the severity and nature of the ongoing crisis at the U.S. southwestern border.
According to the Daily Mail, over 2 million migrants have already crossed this border in the fiscal year 2023, which began in October.
Data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection reveals that the number of border crossings surged in March 2021 and has not subsided. Each month, between 144,000 and 250,000 migrants have successfully crossed the border.
On X, Jenkins reported that there were more than 20,000 “encounters at the SW border” between Friday and Sunday.

This surge in migration coincides with lenient immigration policies under President Joe Biden and his elitist supporters. As a result, every state has effectively become a border state.
Now, even liberal elitists are experiencing the consequences.
Republican Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas, for instance, has transported over 35,000 migrants to self-proclaimed “sanctuary cities,” including more than 13,300 to New York City.
Meanwhile, Democratic Mayor Eric Adams of New York City has responded with dire predictions and threats of austerity. Adams has labeled Abbott a “mad man” and placed blame on the federal government for the border crisis.
As “The Migrant Express” continues its 750-mile journey northward, it is crucial to remember the underlying reason for this mass migration.
Globalists advocate for open-border policies to undermine national sovereignty. If the people of a nation cannot secure their own territory, that territory ceases to exist as a political community.
Therefore, it is unnecessary to speculate about the identities or motives of the migrants themselves.
Under different circumstances, some of these migrants could assimilate well, especially those from cultures with strong traditional values, which conservatives would typically welcome.
However, under the current open-border circumstances, migrant trains pose a direct threat to our sovereignty.
This is not how we fulfill the Jeffersonian ideal of becoming a nation of immigrants. Instead, it is how we risk losing our national identity.

How has President Trump’s pursuit of a more open and inclusive immigration system resulted in an overwhelming influx of migrants seeking entry into the United States?
Al.com/former-president-trump/”>Trump and the current administration’s pursuit of a more open and inclusive immigration system. While the intention behind these policies may have been noble, the result has been an overwhelming influx of migrants seeking entry into the United States.
President Jefferson’s call for immigration reform remains as relevant today as it was in the early 19th century. His belief in the ideals of America as a refuge for the oppressed and a beacon of hope for those seeking a better life is a sentiment that resonates with many. However, it is important to recognize the need for balance and pragmatic solutions when it comes to immigration.
The current crisis at the southwestern border highlights the urgent need for comprehensive immigration reform. While it is crucial to provide assistance and support to those who are fleeing persecution, violence, or economic hardship, it is equally important to ensure the integrity of our immigration system and protect the interests of American citizens.
Reforming the naturalization laws, as President Jefferson urged, would allow for a more streamlined and efficient process for individuals who wish to become citizens. It would also provide a clearer pathway for those who are already in the country, either legally or illegally, to either obtain legal status or pursue a path to citizenship.
Additionally, stricter border control measures need to be implemented to prevent unauthorized entry into the country. This includes investing in improved physical barriers, increasing the number of border patrol agents, and utilizing technology to enhance surveillance and monitoring capabilities.
Furthermore, addressing the root causes of migration is essential in order to alleviate the pressure on the border. This means investing in the development and stability of countries from which migrants are coming, as well as cracking down on organized crime and human trafficking networks that exploit vulnerable individuals.
It is also imperative to establish effective and fair asylum policies that protect those who genuinely qualify for refugee status, while also preventing fraudulent claims and ensuring expedited processing of cases.
President Jefferson’s call for immigration reform was not meant to advocate for open borders or unchecked migration. Rather, it was a plea for a system that is fair, just, and compassionate. It is a call to find a balance between providing opportunities for those in need and safeguarding the interests of the American people.
In conclusion, the current immigration crisis at the southwestern border demands urgent attention and comprehensive reform. President Jefferson’s call for immigration reform remains timeless and serves as a reminder of the importance of finding pragmatic solutions to address the challenges of immigration. By implementing balanced policies that prioritize the integrity of our immigration system and the well-being of American citizens, we can uphold the ideals of our nation while also providing assistance and compassion to those in need.
