Ramaswamy, a 38-year-old biotech millionaire, believes that such a pardon would help the nation move forward after what he perceives as politically motivated prosecution.
According to the New York Post, Ramaswamy stated that he would evaluate pardons for members of the Biden family, including Hunter, once he has reformed the FBI and Department of Justice and pardoned victims of politically motivated persecution, such as those involved in the peaceful January 6 protests and former President Donald Trump.
Attorney General Merrick Garland recently announced the appointment of U.S. Attorney David Weiss as a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden’s alleged tax fraud and gun possession charges. This development has further fueled the debate surrounding the Biden family’s legal troubles.
