Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy: No Plans for Cabinet Position
In an engaging interview on the Steve Hilton Show, Vivek Ramaswamy addressed rumors that he was running for president solely to secure a Cabinet position. He firmly stated that if he were to lose the 2024 race, he would return to the private sector.
Driving Change Through the Private Sector
“I would not,” Ramaswamy confidently responded when asked if he would join the administration of the Republican victor. “I believe the right way to drive change in this country, if I’m not in this race, is through the private sector, as I’ve been doing it. We all have unique contributions to make, and there are plenty of talented politicians who can fill any necessary roles.”
Ramaswamy emphasized that he believes he can still have a significant impact on the race, even if he doesn’t secure the 2024 GOP nomination.
Unique Contributions and Building Enterprises
“In our movement, there’s a thinner bench when it comes to individuals who truly understand how to build successful enterprises,” Ramaswamy explained. “Before this campaign, I was consistently writing one book every six months while simultaneously building those businesses.”
A spokesman for Ramaswamy reiterated that the entrepreneur is solely focused on running for president and has no interest in being the vice president for another candidate.
