Voters: Democrats are America’s ‘biggest enemy’ – Washington Examiner

A recent poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports in Pennsylvania indicates that voters ‌perceive ⁣the Democratic Party as the⁣ biggest enemy facing ⁣America, with 25% identifying it as such. This surpasses the concerns ‍about China (20%), the Republican Party (19%), and other threats such ‌as domestic extremists, Russia, and⁢ Iran. Pollster Mark Mitchell highlighted this finding as alarming for Democrats, especially in the context of broader polling trends showing ‌increasing Republican support and voter leanings. The poll suggests a significant image problem for the Democrats as the party struggles to maintain a favorable standing among ⁣voters.

Voters: Democrats are America’s ‘biggest enemy’

The Democrats have an image problem, and it’s worse than China has.

According to a preview of results from testing in battleground state Pennsylvania, Rasmussen Reports pollster Mark Mitchell tweeted out what he dubbed “the scariest finding in our state polling so far.”

The question: “Who is the biggest enemy America currently faces, Iran, China, Russia, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, or domestic extremists?”

The results:

  1. The Democratic Party — 25%.
  2. China — 20%.
  3. The GOP — 19%.
  4. Domestic extremists — 13%
  5. Russia — 11%.
  6. Iran — 7%.

Fellow pollster and Republican consultant Rick Shaftan responded, “Deadly for Dems.”

It was just the latest gut punch the Democrats have been hit with this week.

First, Gallup revealed in its polling that more voters are Republicans or lean Republican than ever, and they also outnumber Democrats.

And Rasmussen that voters blame Democratic rhetoric for the assassination attempts on former President Donald Trump’s life.

What’s more, they overwhelmingly believe that he will face more assassination attempts.
