The Washington Post has corrected Friday’s story regarding “The Washington Post”. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla.Originally, she was a Democrat.

“A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that Anna Paulina Luna was registered as a Democrat in Washington state in 2017 based on an erroneous voter registration database. The Post reported that Luna was elected to Congress along with Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.), who has admitted to fabricating many parts of his biography. Friday’s report stated that Luna’s mom confirmed several stories that Luna shared on the campaign trail. This included her grandmother’s death from AIDS, and the armed robbery Luna escaped at age nine.
