The Washington Post has uncovered a new suspect in the attack on Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

In a recent article, the paper alleged‍ that⁣ 48-year-old Roman Chervinsky, a former colonel⁤ in the Ukrainian Special Forces, played a significant role in planning the attack.

The report revealed that the colonel received ​orders from Ukraine’s top general at the time, but it ⁤also stated ‍that President Volodymyr ⁢Zelensky was⁣ unaware of the operation.

Meanwhile, Russian officials expressed concern over the report, emphasizing that Ukraine’s allies should be worried about the apparent lack of control over⁤ the country by⁢ the Zelensky administration.

They need ⁢to name those who are guilty, those who ‌performed, coordinated ⁣and ordered it. All those names must be announced.”
