WATCH: Bodyguard’s Quick Thinking Saves Japan’s Prime Minister From Hurled Explosive Device
A soldier threw an explosive device at Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida during a campaign event, and video footage of him saving him from ruin was released over the weekend.
The episode did not hurt Kishida, who was campaigning in northern Japan, but a law officer did get treatment for some minor wounds. After” the wary image” was thrown at Kishida, authorities detained a younger man and tackled him to the ground.
