Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is not
bothered by former President Donald Trump’s attempts to give him insulting nicknames.
“You can call me whatever you want,” DeSantis laughingly told Piers Morgan
during a preview clip from an upcoming interview. “Just as long as you also call me a ‘winner.'”

Despite that, the governor and potential GOP presidential candidate said he prefers being called “Ron
DeSanctimonious” over “Meatball Ron” when it comes to the nicknames offered by the former president.

“Well … I don’t know how to spell ‘DeSanctimonious,'” he said.
“I don’t really know what it means, but I kinda like it. It’s long. It’s got a lot of vowels. So we’ll go
with that.”
Morgan seemed to agree that “DeSanctimonious” was a better choice.
