WATCH: Joe Biden’s Senior Moment of the Week Vol. 16
Another eventful week for President Joe Biden, who has been getting out more lately. Maybe he’s trying to savor these last few days as a septuagenarian before celebrating his 80th birthday next month. Maybe he knows his party is about to get swept out of power in the midterm elections and has decided to live life to the fullest before Democrats stage an intervention and force him to retire at the end of his term.
Biden has started openly defying his handler’s advice to stop caressing strangers and holding their hands for uncomfortable lengths of time. It’s difficult to watch. Almost as difficult as watching him try to finish a sentence. “Today we are stepping up with, to hold the, really, to take it back,” he said this week. When asked why so few Democrats are inviting him to campaign for them, the president rambled like a cranky geezer: “No they’re but sixteen I’ve already gone in forty-eight and a lot more have asked,” he told a reporter in Pennsylvania.
Have a great weekend!
