VIDEO: Joe Biden’s Weekly Senior Moment (Vol. 58)
This week President Joe Biden once again compared the plight of grieving families to the time his house “almost collapsed” in a 2004 fire caused by lightning.
(Firefighters described the blaze as “insignificant.”)
Biden, 80, made the remarks after surveying the (significant) damage caused by Hurricane Idalia in Florida, and reading some prepared notes about a “storm that made landfill [sic].” It wasn’t clear if he knew where he was or why he was there.
While touting his economic achievements at the White House, the president joked (we think) that he wasn’t sure the term “Bidenomics” was originally intended as a “complimzenor [sic].” We’re also pretty sure he tried to brag about lowering drug prices.
“You could buy the same drug in Toronto or Paris cheaper than you can buy it in Toronto,” Biden said with the intellectual fortitude we have come to expect from our commander in chief.
Have a great Labor Day weekend!
