Vice President Kamala Harris is speaking at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s Annual Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.
Harris is scheduled to begin her remarks at 12:15 p.m.
The vice president’s speech comes as her presidential campaign enters the home stretch, with voting beginning now in some states and Election Day only 48 days away. In the RealClearPolitics national polling average, Harris leads former President Donald Trump 49.3%- 47.3%, as the race in the Electoral College remains tight.
