WATCH LIVE: House panel holds hearing to examine Biden administration’s weaponization of social media companies
The House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government is currently holding a hearing to investigate the Missouri v. Biden case. This case alleges that the Biden administration ordered social media companies to censor American citizens, resulting in a violation of the First Amendment.
Last year, the lawsuit was filed by the attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana, accusing the Biden administration of colluding with Big Tech companies to suppress information related to COVID-19, election integrity, and other topics. The attorneys presenting their case are Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO), Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, Louisiana Department of Justice Special Assistant Attorney General D. John Sauer, and Stanford Constitutional Law Professor Matthew Seligman.
