WATCH LIVE: Kristi Noem testifies at Senate hearing for DHS confirmation
Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD), President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee to head the Department of Homeland Security, will appear before the Senate Homeland Security Committee for a confirmation hearing Friday morning.
The hearing, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, will take place at 9 a.m. Eastern in Washington, D.C.
Noem was elected governor of South Dakota in 2019 as the first woman to serve in the position.
