WATCH LIVE: Senate HELP Committee hearing on union-busting allegations

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee is holding a hearing on alleged union-busting by Starbucks.

Following Sanders’ Lawsuit Challenge, STARBUCKS CEO AGREES TO Speak PRIOR TO CONGRESS.

No Industry is Above the Law: The Need to Stop Illegal Union Busting at Starbucks is the topic of the reading, which will take place at the G50 Dirksen Senate Office Building. Complaints that the coffee industry has busted unions and interfered with its employees’ efforts to organize will be discussed at the hearing.

Howard Schultz, a council member and former Starbucks CEO, will testify on the first screen. Many members of the second panel, including coffee Maggie Carter, fired work president Jaysin Saxton, Harvard law professor Sharon Block, and senior research fellow Rachel Greszler from the Heritage Foundation, will then join them.
