On Thursday, Trump became the first president in United States history to be convicted of a felony. He was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment to pornography star Stormy Daniels.
The former president was quick to denounce the result of the trial.

“This was a rigged, disgraceful trial,” Trump told reporters soon after the verdict. “The real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people. They know what happened, and everyone knows what happened here.”
