WATCH: Oprah reacts to unearthed letter to Trump suggesting they run for office

Oprah Winfrey rI responded to a note she sent to Donald Trump nearly two decades ago.

Trump had been told by the talk show host, in a letter. “Too bad we’re not running for office. What a team!”

On CBS MorningsGayle King was informed by Winfrey that she wouldn’t consider partnering up with the 2024 presidential hopeful.

According to reports, Trump will reveal 150 private letters in his new book. Winfrey sent a letter in 2000. It was discovered ahead of time.

“I think he’d written a book and said that he wanted me to be his running mate … if he decided to run,” Winfrey tried recalling.

“When I heard that this letter is now going to be a part of a book, I thought, ‘Oh, wasn’t that nice of me to write a note.’ That’s what I thought because I’m always like, ‘Oh, I should write a note. The person did this, or I should write a note,'” She explained. “So I’m really happy that I wrote a note.”

She spoke out about her suggestion for a running mate. “I might have thought it back then. I might have thought it 23 years ago,” She stressed however, “I’m not thinking it today.”

Trump claimed recently that Oprah Winfrey and Clint Eastwood used to love him.

“I knew them all — and every one of them kissed my a**, and now I only have half of them kissing my a**,” He said.
