WATCH: Outraged protesters decry Florida’s ‘trans-genocide’ at public hearing

HWhen leftist protesters in Tallahassee voiced their disapproval at Monday’s public hearing, air dye, face masks and needles filled the Florida Senate Committee on Health Policy, the floor was overwhelmed.

This group strongly opposed any measure that would ban minors from having treatments or procedures to achieve sexual reassignment.

Many protesters referred to the law as CS/SB 254 Treatments for Sex Reassignment. “trans-genocide” That would be awesome! “many people die.”

“You have put targets on the backs of Florida’s queer community, and state legislators are putting guns into the hands of people who want us dead,” One speaker stated. “From every angle and opportunity, you are committing genocide.”

“You or trying to kill my people, and it will not go lightly,” Another thought. “The way it is as it is now, my people will die, and that blood, if you support this bill, will be on your hands.”

Opponents of the legislation come in many shapes, sizes, and ages.

“I’m 12 years old,” One of the younger speakers stated this. “I’m non-binary. Many of us will die. I deserve to live as long as all of you. We are humans too.”

A number of speakers displayed their seriousness by displaying their knowledge.

One transgender 22-year old with blue hair injected themselves with the substance.

“This is my healthcare,” The speaker stated. “Don’t tread on it.”

Others used personal and international history to illustrate the dangers of allowing children to choose their gender.

“When I was two, I wanted to kill myself,” One said. “By the time I was 15, I attempted to slice my own breasts off.”

“I grew up in Germany in the aftermath of the Nazis,” A second speaker addressed the group. “What you people are doing is no different. This is transphobic. It is cruel, and you really should be ashamed.”
