WATCH: Pro-Life Supporters Sing National Anthem, Pray Outside of Supreme Court

As the Supreme Court of the United States heard oral arguments for the monumental abortion case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, pro-life supporters began the day by praying that the court would overturn Roe v. Wade. They also sang America’s national anthem.

As The Daily Wire reported earlier on Wednesday, Dobbs is a case out of Mississippi that could “dramatically change the landscape of abortion in the country.”

“The case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, concerns a 2018 law in Mississippi that bans most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy,” The Daily Wire reported. “As the law stands now, Roe v. Wade and the decisions that came after it hold that states have to allow a woman to be able to get an abortion up to the point of viability, or when the baby can survive on its own outside the womb. Most states hold this mark at around 20 to 24 weeks, so the Mississippi law is a direct violation.”

As a result of the enormity of the case, protesters from both sides of the political aisle are currently gathered in front of the Supreme Court expressing their views on the issue.

The Daily Signal’s Mary Margaret Olohan captured on video a group of pro-life individuals singing the national anthem ahead of arguments.

Later on, Olohan reported that “Liberty University students pray before SCOTUS. Students tell me that the school bussed 1,000 students here today. No other university has this kind of showing.”

Meanwhile, leftists supposedly took abortion pills outside of the court to show their support for the legal killing of children inside the womb.

The Daily Wire reported that story earlier on Wednesday, and noted that “Pro-life spokespersons have discussed the potential risks of the abortion pill in the past, especially when the pill is taken without a woman first being examined by a doctor. Access to the abortion pill through the mail and online delivery services has also raised red flags, as such availability could lead to abusers using the pills against victims of human trafficking.”

Other attendees reported that “Pro-life advocates outnumber abortion enthusiasts 3 or 4 to 1.”

Wow. Out front of #SCOTUS

Bloomberg’s Greg Stohr stated that after the closing of arguments, “…All six conservatives seem poised to slash abortion rights and uphold Mississippi’s 15-week ban. Kavanaugh, Barrett both suggest openness to going further and overturning Roe.”
