Rep. Cammack exposes Democrat’s Epstein connections in hearing.
Republican Rep. Kat Cammack Calls Out Democratic Delegate’s Ties to Epstein During Congressional Hearing
During a Thursday hearing on the weaponization of government, Republican Rep. Kat Cammack of Florida took aim at Democratic Virgin Islands Delegate Stacey Plaskett, highlighting her connections to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
Plaskett, who serves as a non-voting delegate in the House, has received campaign donations from Epstein and his associates, according to Insider. Cammack referenced this during the hearing, which featured Democratic presidential contender Robert F. Kennedy Jr. discussing censorship and the weaponization of the federal government.
Plaskett, in turn, accused Kennedy of being supported by “MAGA Republicans” through a super PAC called Heal the Divide, as reported by Fox News. However, Kennedy denied any substantial connection to the super PAC.
Cammack seized the opportunity to bring up Plaskett’s ties to Epstein, expressing her concern about the delegate’s affiliation with a convicted sex trafficker. She emphasized the importance of the First Amendment, noting that while individuals have the right to express their beliefs, they are not exempt from accountability.

Earlier in the hearing, Plaskett criticized House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and subcommittee chairman Jim Jordan for allowing Kennedy to testify, accusing them of endorsing harmful and bigoted views. Kennedy defended his right to free speech, stating that the First Amendment was designed to protect unpopular speech.
The hearing shed light on the complex issues surrounding government weaponization and the importance of accountability in public discourse.
Should Plaskett resign for her ties with Epstein?
Kennedy’s testimony and the ensuing discussion highlighted the ongoing debate over free speech, accountability, and the role of government in shaping public discourse.
