WATCH: Suspected Illegal Immigrants Try Breaking Into Woman’s Home 50 Miles From Border

Security footage from a Texas woman’s ranch house 50 miles from the southern border shows suspected illegal immigrants trying unsuccessfully trying to batter down the woman’s door before entering the home of her neighbor.

Border Patrol was called to Eagle Pass home by the men, but they had already fled.

“I’ll invite any politician who says this border is secure to come down to Eagle Pass so I can show them personally if it’s secure or not,” Chief Manuel Mello from the Eagle Pass Fire Department said Last month, his border town was the focus of illegal immigrants. The border town is said to have seen approximately 2,000 illegal crossings daily.

Another resident reported that his younger sister heard someone rape outside her bedroom at night. He said that he heard someone rap on his bedroom window at night. “It’s pretty scary. We’re getting used to it already because unfortunately, nothing is really being done.”
