We Stand Strong: The West is Unafraid
We, the citizens of the West, refuse to cower in fear. We will not be intimidated.
In the face of massive pro-Hamas rallies across Western cities and college campuses, designed to instill fear, we remain optimistic. The truth is, there are far more people in the West who oppose Hamas than support them. The majority of people support Israel’s efforts to eliminate Hamas and its power.
The silent majority may not always be vocal, but they are indeed the majority. This was evident at the historic pro-Israel rally on the National Mall in Washington D.C., where hundreds of thousands of pro-Israel ralliers, predominantly Jewish, gathered. They came from all corners of the country, united in their support for Israel and to show that their numbers surpass those who stand against Israel.

But the pro-Israel rally showcased more than just numbers. It demonstrated that those who support Israel also love the West. It made it clear that those who harbor hatred towards Israel also harbor hatred towards the West. The contrast was stark. The pro-Israel rally was filled with American flags, pride for our country, and a sense of unity. There were no chants of hate, no calls for genocide, and no support for targeting innocent lives. Instead, there was prayer, solidarity, and love.
As one police officer reportedly put it, “I received a career’s worth of thank yous in one day.”

Meanwhile, at a pro-Hamas rally in Staten Island on Tuesday, the scene was quite different. People chanted slogans like “We don’t want no two-state, we want ’48” and “From New York to Gaza, globalize the Intifada!” They even engaged in clashes with police officers. The contrast between the two rallies couldn’t be more apparent.
The overwhelming support for Israel at the rally was bipartisan, with both GOP Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer addressing the crowd.
However, the rally also faced opposition. Hamas supporters vandalized a medical tent the night before, and there were reports of bus drivers refusing to transport Jewish attendees from the airport, a clear case of religious discrimination.
All this hatred can be disheartening, especially when it comes from the halls of power, primarily from the far Left. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, for instance, spent the day criticizing Israel, a predictable move from a morally blind leader.
Representative Jamaal Bowman of New York even had the audacity to claim that his opposition to Israel was an attempt to uphold Judaism. Such statements are truly breathtaking in their audacity.
But let’s not be disheartened. These fringe sentiments do not represent the majority. According to a recent poll, 67% of Americans believe Israel should continue its fight against Hamas until they are defeated and the hostages are released. Over eight in ten Americans agree that Israel has a responsibility to protect its citizens.

This is the true America, not the distorted image portrayed by our biased media. Speaking of the media, they spent most of yesterday ignoring the massive pro-Israel rally, instead focusing on astroturfed resistance to Israel’s mission. The New York Times, for example, failed to mention the largest Jewish rally in centuries on its front page, but dedicated an article to 500 anonymous members of the executive branch protesting Joe Biden’s Israel policy.
The media continues to undermine Israel’s right to defend itself. Despite numerous reports over the years about Hamas using hospitals as military headquarters, the press treats Israel as a pariah for targeting these military sites. The Pentagon has confirmed that hospitals are being used as fronts for military operations by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Under international law, these sites become legitimate targets. Israel has provided warnings and facilitated the safe exit of civilians from these areas. Yet, the media persist in their biased reporting. The BBC, known for its pro-Hamas bias, even lied about Israel targeting medical teams and Arab speakers in a hospital.
But we see through the media’s moral equivalence game. We know the truth. And that truth is encouraging.
Hamas and its allies rely on fear, but we refuse to be afraid. We stand strong with right and might on our side.
