What to watch Wednesday at the DNC: ‘A Fight’

CHICAGO — Day three of the Democratic National Convention will give the Harris-Walz ticket an opportunity to address supporters and voters across the nation in primetime.

Wednesday’s keynote address will be delivered by 2024 Democratic vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), and DNC officials say Walz will expand on the night’s theme: “A fight for Our Freedoms.”

“Vice President Harris has spent her entire career fighting for Americans’ freedoms. In Governor Tim Walz, Vice President Harris chose as her running mate a champion for America’s working families and a staunch defender of those same fundamental freedoms,” the DNC said in a statement. “Donald Trump spent his four years in office fighting to strip our rights away, and he’s once again running on an extreme agenda to go even farther in turning back the clock on all the freedoms we hold dear.”

Like Tuesday and Monday before it, Wednesday will also see Democrats host a number of caucus and council meetings at McCormick Place, the convention’s secondary location and a daily press conference with Harris campaign and DNC officials. And, again, there aren’t any officially permitted protests taking place on Wednesday, but pro-Gaza activists continue to gather near and around satellite DNC programming.

On the other side of the river, former President Donald Trump’s campaign will hold its own, counter-programming presser at Trump Tower. RNC officials told the Washington Examiner that Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL), the first Green Beret to be elected to Congress and a vocal Trump supporter, will field questions on Trump’s national security platform.

Wednesday’s also one day closer to the weekend and the conclusion of convention week, so the parties will continue to ramp up.

Hump Day’s offerings include a riverboat cruise and reception, hosted by the Maryland Democratic Delegation, and a Drag Show hosted by Drag PAC.

  1. Helter Skelter Duo
The Helter Skelter duo of Walz and Harris still flying around America on the tax payers dime, other then making a lot of verbal noise tossing out a whole lot of BS with with no questions or answers, to explain their failures as public political democrats can’t go on much longer. Trump as agreed to three debates , Harris still up in the air in more ways then one. What are we looking at here folks a couple of wannabes that can’t be…. above exactly what they are jake the fakers. Think about it the highest offices in our Country, want to talk about their life time as tax payer sponges, with no real value or any return of any positive results for America. These two clowns have no real leader ship requirements for the post they seek. The democrat party has really screwed their voting blocks putting these two up for something neither one are really qualified for, just because Hollywood is pleases who cares, WTF does that mean for inflation world peace the remaining survival of the American way of life?.
