Michael Whatley, the Chairman of the Republican National Committee, has urged voters to participate in the upcoming election, emphasizing its significant implications not just for America, but for the world. With Election Day just two days away, the contest pits Vice President Kamala Harris against former President Donald Trump. A recent poll shows Trump with a narrow lead, prompting Whatley to rally support for him during a recent appearance on the show “Life, Liberty, and Levin.” He characterized the election as an “inflection point,” warning that the outcome could define the direction of the country for the next four years and potentially impact global stability for generations. He asserted that a strong America is crucial for worldwide safety and that Trump’s potential victory could facilitate necessary changes facing the nation and international issues.

“This is an inflection point election. What’s going to happen here is not just going to set the course for America for the next four years; it’s going to set the courts for the world for generations to come,” Whatley said. “The world right now is going in a bad direction. It’s in a dangerous direction. When America’s weak, the world is a far more dangerous place. When he wins, he’s going to have a chance to course-correct everything that’s going on at our border. Everything that’s happening with our economy and everything that’s happening around the world.”
Whatley expressed his excitement at the early voting data. He predicted that the turnout so far would lead to wins in Arizona, Nevada, and North Carolina.
Two weeks after early voting began and four days before Election Day, North Carolina reported nearly 50% of registered voters had already cast their ballots. However, the state is reporting fewer black voters have done the same, with 17.44% of early ballots coming from this group.
