What’s Wrong With His Voice?: President Biden Sounds Worse Than Ever In Friday Speech

On Friday morning, Twitter users were quick to point out that President Joe Biden sounded “worse than ever” — both in terms of his speaking ability and the content of speech — Friday morning following November’s dismal jobs report.

But, the president informed Americans not to worry about his health because he simply became ill from kissing his grandson.

Biden’s lower-octave-than-normal voice was flagged by Townhall, which simply stated, “What’s going on with Biden’s voice?”

Simply put, at several points, the commander-in-chief sounded like he was going to hack up a lung:

Biden clarified that to Fox News’ Peter Doocy at the end of his speech that he actually caught a cold from his grandkid.

“I am okay. I have a test…a Covid test every day….What I have is a 1 1/2-year-old grandson who has a cold who likes to kiss his pop. He’d be kissing my, anyway…But it’s just a cold.”

Joe Biden is asked why he sounds so sick:

While that answer might explain why his voice sounded off, it did not exactly clarify some of his comments about the economy made during the speech.

At one point, the president stated that “we’ve seen”oil and gas prices on the wholesale market come down significantly. As The Daily Wire reported Thursday, Democrats celebrated gas prices dropping by a mere two cents per gallon over the past two weeks, but overall, gas prices are nowhere close to what they were when President Biden took office.

In a question again from Fox News’ Peter Doocy, Biden hinted that his covid measures were going to be in place longer and that defeating the virus would “take time.”

“Are you no longer going to shut [the virus] down?” Doocy asked.

“We’ve gotta beat it back before we shut it down,” the president stated. “This is gonna take time…We have to shut it down worldwide.”

As pointed out by The Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles, the U.S. coronavirus strategy has changed  from “flatten the curve,” to “slow the spread,”  then “find a cure,” and “shut it down,” to now saying we need “beat it back.”

This change in the federal government’s attitude toward the virus is unlikely to quell any economic fears about government protocol for the virus.

This morning, The Daily Wire reported that November jobs numbers were drastically underwhelming and they were reported even before the Omicron variant “triggered a panic” in the Biden administration and mainstream media:

The November jobs report that came out on Friday showed poor numbers for the U.S. economy, with growth in new jobs not even reaching 50% of what financial experts had predicted.

Making the news worse, the disastrous jobs numbers arrived before the U.S. government and the mainstream media triggered a panic over the new Omicron variant of the novel coronavirus.
