White House Counsel Spokesman’s MSNBC Appearance Doesn’t Go Well

Biden Senior Advisor, Spokesperson for White House Counsel’s Office Ian Sams joined MSNBC on Monday morning. Sams had to face tougher questions from Morning Joe hosts than usual and…Sams spiraled quite quickly in this latest example of the White House not getting in front of President’s classified document scandal.

Why didn’t Biden’s Wilmington home be searched by the DOJ immediately after the November documents were discovered? Why didn’t they search Wilmington once a set of documents had been found in Biden’s garage? What was the delay in locating more than 10 items bearing classification markings in Wilmington before a DOJ search could be conducted? And why hasn’t the DOJ — as far as we know — searched Biden’s other properties, such as his house in Rehoboth Beach where he spent the weekend?

Sams insists that Biden is handling this scandal regardless of all the facts “right way” Fully cooperating with the DOJ despite the fact Biden had for months hidden his breaching of national security from the American people. “This is a president who believes in the rule of law,” Sams claimed that Biden, despite repeatedly running afoul the U.S. Constitution and his executive edicts, has always been in violation of it.

Mika Brzezinski, Morning Joe’s co-host, reacted to Sams’s comments by pointing out the stark differences in the DOJ’s handlings of classified documents from Biden and Trump.

Sams, who should’ve seen this question coming, was apparently caught by surprise. “The president takes this very seriously,” Sams retorted, reverting to the line that has been repeated more times than can count. However, this is also a ridiculous line and has been repeatedly disproven by Biden with every new discovery of classified documents. 

“I understand the question,” Sams claimed it, but he ignored it until he came up with another absurd explanation. “We’re deferring to the Justice Department to answer some of these questions,” Sams stated, “To ensure that “understand how this happened.”

Really? Biden must have the DOJ explain to him why he kept classified documents during his long career as a senator and vice president, and then scattered them throughout the Mid-Atlantic. You need to believe this, then you should take a look at the Brooklyn bridge.

Joe Biden should ask the DOJ for clarification on how he obtained documents and left them at work, home, and in his garage.

The White House could not have been more wrong if they thought that its efforts to reduce negative press coverage about Biden’s latest scandal were succeeding, or that Sams would reach out to a friendly liberal network for some sympathy.
