Whoopi storms off ‘The View’ set amid Miranda Lambert clash.
Whoopi Goldberg Walks Off “The View” Set During Heated Debate Over Miranda Lambert Controversy
During a lively clash on Tuesday’s episode of “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg made a dramatic exit from the set. The discussion revolved around country music star Miranda Lambert’s recent decision to publicly rebuke fans who were taking selfies in the front row while she was performing onstage.

Cohost Sunny Hostin argued that if she had paid as much for front row tickets as Lambert’s fans had, she would not feel bad at all about taking a few selfies to remember the moment.
“Tickets in the VIP section that they were in are $757,” Hostin said. ”Imma take as many selfies as I want if I paid $757. I’m sorry. Just me.”
“Stay home,” Goldberg shot back, arguing that someone willing to pay that much for tickets ought to want to be there for the show. “If you’re gonna spend $750,000 to — $750 to come to my concert, then give me the respect of watching me while I’m doing my thing. Or don’t come.”
“Maybe I wanna play it again,” Hostin continued to argue, saying that if she wanted to be able to have her picture with the music in the background, she should be allowed to do that.
Goldberg got up from her chair, saying, “Turn on the television, girl,” as she walked away from the table.
“Where are you going?” cohost Joy Behar asked, and Hostin echoed the question.

“I’m leaving y’all,” Goldberg replied, prompting laughter from the others at the table and in the audience. Goldberg did not appear to be seriously upset by the dispute, but she did make it clear that she had had enough of the conversation.
Lambert made headlines when she stopped her show to address the women taking selfies in the front row, saying, “These girls are worried about their selfies and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. And I’m singing some country damn music.”
