Why The Press Hires Journalists Who Work Directly With Hamas

Hamas’ Propaganda Machine: Journalists in ⁢Gaza

Hamas’ friends in the press have hit‌ upon a new strategy: they are now claiming that Israel is‌ targeting journalists. According to The Washington Post,⁢ “For weeks,‌ hundreds of locally‍ based journalists in the Gaza Strip have provided the ⁢world with intimate views of the devastation on ⁢Palestinian lives and homes – while trying to find ways to survive themselves and keep their families safe.”

Yes, we are told, journalists ‌in Gaza are under assault.

But there is ⁢another story here.

Another, far more nefarious story.

That story goes like this: journalists in the Gaza‌ Strip are typically propagandists for Hamas. That is how they got in.⁢ That is why they have‍ been allowed to operate. Hamas deliberately places these pseudo-journalists in areas designed‌ to shield Hamas military resources.

That story happens to be true.

Honest Reporting, a 501(c)3 website dedicated to ⁣uncovering prejudice in ‌journalism, ran a shocking story. They reported⁣ that during the October 7 massacre of 1,400 Israelis and kidnapping of another‍ 240, Gaza-based photojournalists working for the Associated Press and Reuters — so-called stringers for⁢ the major wire services — were present. ⁢That presence could only have ⁤occurred‌ with prior coordination with ⁣Hamas. As Honest Reporting says, “Four names appear on AP’s photo credits from⁣ the ⁤Israel-Gaza border area on October 7: Hassan Eslaiah, Yousef Masoud, Ali Mahmud, and Hatem Ali.

Here is a picture of ⁤Hassan Eslaiah being kissed by Yahya Sinwar, the military leader of Hamas and mastermind behind the October 7 Hamas massacre of Israelis.

Footage shows Eslaiah standing in front of‌ a burning ⁢tank⁤ during October 7, wearing no press vest or marking of any sort.

The other three pseudo-journalists were there, too, prepared to take pictures⁣ of Hamas’ atrocities.

And then ‍the wire services paid them ⁤for it and gave them photo credits.

This, unfortunately, is nothing new.‍ The journalists ⁤stationed in‍ Gaza either work directly for Hamas or under the‌ thumb of Hamas. All the‌ way back in 2014, the Times⁢ of Israel⁣ reported ‍that⁢ journalists⁣ had been questioned and⁣ threatened by Hamas; photographers who took pictures Hamas didn’t‍ like had their cameras⁢ confiscated.‍ The Washington Post reported at‍ the time ⁣that al-Shifa Hospital had “become a de facto headquarters for Hamas leaders, who can be seen in the hallways and⁤ offices.” The Middle East correspondent ⁣for‌ The ‍Wall Street Journal wrote on Twitter that Hamas ⁣used al-Shifa “as a safe place to see media,” but then inexplicably removed the ⁢post. One French reporter printed a story about being threatened by Hamas – and then⁤ had the outlet remove the story for‌ his own safety.

So, when you⁤ see “journalism” from Gaza, just ⁤understand — there are no ‍free journalists in Gaza. Either ‌journalists⁢ are living under Hamas’ thumb, or they work ‍directly with Hamas. As one‍ Spanish reporter said, “We saw the Hamas men” hiding behind civilians, “but had we dared⁤ point the cameras at them, they‍ would have opened fire at us and killed us.”

So, here’s the big⁤ question: Would journalistic ‌outlets like the AP and Reuters use stringers associated with white supremacist groups in order to take pictures ⁣at Charlottesville? Or are they only ⁢willing ‌to use stringers⁤ who associate openly with terrorists and voice‌ their support for Hitler, so long as⁤ they’re Islamic radicals? What moral responsibility do the AP and Reuters and their like bear for ⁣printing the propaganda ‌of ⁢Hamas ⁣and ‍its minions?

An awful ⁤lot of responsibility, of course.

And, as⁢ usual, that reality is obscured via projection. We’re now supposed to believe that Gaza is rife with ‌excellent journalists ‍being targeted⁤ not by Hamas, but⁣ by Israel.

Projection is ⁣the name of the ⁤game in this ‌conflict.

It always is.

It’s why⁤ we see idiots or moral perverts playing silly semantic games obviously⁢ meant to tar Israel‍ with the crimes of its enemies. They ⁤make vague statements about opposing genocide ⁤“from all sides.” Which is a bit like saying, after watching O.J. Simpson butcher his ex-wife and then watching the police arrest him, that ‌you are against violence on ⁢all sides. Only⁢ one side in this conflict is attempting genocide, and⁣ it isn’t Israel, and any implication to the contrary is either idiocy or malevolence.

It’s why we see idiots or moral ⁤perverts attempting ‌to deflect from‌ Hamas’⁣ crimes with talks about Israel’s treatment of Arabs — despite the⁢ fact that 20% of Israel’s⁤ population is Arab, and that⁣ any Jew who wanders into Gaza or Jenin will be summarily murdered.

It’s why we see idiots ⁤or moral perverts pointing to civilian casualties in‌ Gaza ⁢and murdered‍ civilians in Israeli villages ⁢and⁤ pretending that their causes of death are somehow⁤ equivalent.

For Israel’s enemies — and for Hamas’ most ardent advocates — everything is‍ projection.‌ And the press are certainly ⁤Israel’s enemies.

Which is why they’ll hire supposed journalists ⁣who ⁣work‌ directly with Hamas.

⁢ How can journalistic outlets like the Associated Press and Reuters ensure that their reporters are not affiliated with or sympathetic to ‌terrorist ‌organizations like Hamas

Ility, I‍ would argue.

The role of journalists is to ‌seek and report the truth, to provide unbiased and accurate‍ information to the public. However, in ⁤the case of Gaza, many journalists have become complicit in spreading ⁤Hamas’ propaganda.

Hamas, recognized as a terrorist organization by many countries, including the United ⁤States and the European Union, has a long history ‍of using media manipulation as a tool to further its agenda. By ⁤placing their operatives within the ‍ranks of journalists, Hamas ensures that their version of events is presented to the world.

The presence of Hamas sympathizers and operatives within the media in Gaza was exposed during the October 7 massacre, where journalists working for reputable wire services were found to have⁣ coordinated with Hamas. This‌ raises serious questions about the objectivity and integrity of the reporting coming out ⁢of Gaza.

It ⁤is not uncommon for⁤ journalists in Gaza to face intimidation and threats from Hamas if they attempt to report anything that goes against the narrative that ⁢Hamas wants to promote. Journalists have had their equipment confiscated, and some have been physically attacked for trying to capture ‌the ‌truth.

In the face of such dire circumstances, it is understandable that journalists may feel⁢ compelled to go along⁤ with Hamas’ propaganda ⁢machine in order to protect themselves and their families. However, this compromise comes at the cost of journalistic integrity and the truth.

Journalistic outlets such as the Associated Press and Reuters must take responsibility for the oversight and⁤ vetting of ‍their stringers and local reporters. They must ensure that those ⁢they employ are not affiliated with or sympathetic to terrorist organizations like Hamas. ⁢By failing to do so, they risk tarnishing their own reputation and becoming conduits⁤ for Hamas’ deceitful narrative
